The test

This notice covers CHIMP Intelligence’s restricted WhatsApp technical test at +41 77 415 15 68 and the pages you are reading. It does not describe other contact forms or services on our marketing website.

Only approved test contacts participate. Use fictitious text: this test does not onboard real customer business data. Your phone number and message metadata remain personal information even when the text is invented.

Information and purpose

From you and WhatsApp, we receive phone and WhatsApp identifiers, message text, message identifiers, timestamps and delivery status. We also keep internal contact and routing identifiers, test-participation records, and consent and opt-out records.

We use this information to deliver and store test messages, check the connection, diagnose faults, secure the service and manage participation. Authorised operators can access it for support and debugging. Information you email us is used to handle your enquiry or rights request.

When you visit these notice pages, hosting providers process technical request information such as IP address, browser information and access time to serve and protect them. These pages contain no forms, analytics scripts or externally loaded fonts.

Providers and locations

• Amazon Web Services: our test application and database are hosted in Zurich, Switzerland. See AWS data privacy information.
• Meta / WhatsApp: provides message transport. Swiss local storage is enabled for message content at rest. This does not limit all processing to Switzerland: Meta processes information internationally, including Ireland and the United States. See the WhatsApp privacy policy.
• OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare: host and deliver these notice pages. Their infrastructure and processing are international, including the United States and European Economic Area. See OpenAI’s privacy policy and Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

The linked provider notices describe their processing, international transfers and safeguards. This test is not a promise that every part of the service operates only in Switzerland.

How long we keep it

There is no automatic expiry for stored test conversations. They remain until manually removed following a deletion request or a controlled test-environment reset.

Application diagnostic logs have a 30-day retention setting. Automated database backups have a 7-day retention setting. Retained database snapshots require separate manual removal; deleting a live record does not automatically remove its backup copies. Hosting and messaging providers apply their own retention practices to information they control.

Your choices and rights

You can stop participating by emailing us or blocking the test number. Blocking the number does not delete existing records.

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, you can request information about and access to your data, ask for correction or deletion, or object to processing, subject to the applicable legal conditions. Email info@chimpnovation.com. We may verify your identity and will explain any applicable exception or retention requirement.

Requests are handled manually. This limited test does not have selective record deletion; removal can require a controlled environment reset and separate snapshot removal. See our data deletion instructions.
